Heikki started Natural fiber composite development in Joensuu Science Park in 1999. One of the founders of Kareline ltd (Producer of Thermoplastic natural fiber composites in Finland), designer of Kupilka NFC-out dood dining vessels, Fenron NFC-windows, and one of the innovators of Flaxwood NFC-guitars.
